This rare engine is from the first experimental batch of 10 engines made by Mr Gao after he began the CS laboratories. The case has a matte finish. It was cast from a steel gravity mold and the head is anodized red and machined on the edge. There is no spinner and no markings. The serial number "4"is scratched on the edge of the left lug and the engine is styled similar to the Rossi but Mr Gao says he had not seen the Rossi before designing it. This engine is featured on page 30 of James Dunkin's International Reference Book of .15ci/2.5cc Model Airplane Engines, Edition II.
