Overview: This is a commonly used accelerometer sensor that uses the ADXL345BCCZ chip. The ADXL345BCCZ is a small, thin, low-power 3-axis accelerometer with high resolution (13-bit) and the measurement range of ±16g. Its digital output data is in 16-bit twos complement format and can be accessed via SPI (3-wire or 4-wire) or I2C digital interface. This sensor is ideal for mobile applications. It measures static gravitational acceleration in tilt detection applications and also measures dynamic acceleration caused by motion or shock. Its high resolution (4mg/LSB) enables measurement of tilt angle changes of less than 1.0°. The sensor is compatible with various microcontroller control boards. When using it, we provide a method for using this sensor with microcontrollers.
